Last week I took a trip to the mainland to visit with friends and family. We also took a trip to one of our favorite retailers: One Love Beach in Greenport Long Island. Lane Tanner Designs has been a proud part of their shop for a little over a year now and we were so excited to visit them in person!
I have never been to this part of the country, and I have always wanted to visit. So when our mainland excursion included a road trip from Boston to Brooklyn, it only made sense for for us to pop in for a visit!
The best way (in my opinion!) to get to Long Island is to take the ferry. It was a rainy day, and the fog on the water had an eerie beauty to it. Once we got there we drove past winery after winery. We decided we had to pop into one for a tasting before we left.
One Love Beach is run by the husband and wife duo, Chris and Blake. They truly live and love the SUP lifestyle. As they tell it, they met on the water. With a shared vision to supply their community with a meeting place for outdoor enthusiasts of all ages, they created One Love Beach. They truly have succeeded in their vision!
The shop’s unassuming exterior hints to the treasures hidden within. This place has a wonderfully curated collection of clothing and gifts. But the most impressive area is their selection of SUP. They had SUP styles I had never seen before! Make sure to check out their upstairs showroom to see all their styles.
I was so disappointed to hear that I would be missing their group paddle excursion. They offer a SUP tour every Tuesday. It sounded amazing! They lead a group through the beautiful waterways through this area. During the paddle tour you learn about the area and the eco system. Next time I will make sure to be there on a Tuesday.
One Love Beach takes pride in offering items that are handmade and independently designed. Blake has great taste and I love the style of the shop. Their jewelry wall is an impressive offering of some really special pieces. Lane Tanner Designs is proud to be one of their designers!
