The Best Beaches to Visit on Oahu Hawaii

Oahu Travel and Gift Guide

If you're looking for the perfect beach vacation, Oahu Hawaii is hard to beat. With miles of stunning coastline, and beaches for every taste, you're sure to find your paradise in the Aloha State. I might be a little biased... I lived there for 16 years! Here are my picks for the best beaches in Hawaii. I've also paired them with our favorite Hawaiian photo jewelry pieces to commemorate your stay.

Whether you're looking for a quiet spot to relax or a place to snap some amazing photos, these beaches have it all! So pack your swimsuit and sunscreen and get ready for some unforgettable memories!

Waikiki Beach

When most people think of Hawaii, they picture Waikiki beach - and for good reason. This world-famous beach is a great place to swim, surf, sunbathe and catch the most beautiful sunsets! There are also a number of restaurants, bars, and shops located nearby, making it a great place to spend a day or two.

Waikiki beach is one of the most popular beaches in the world. Located on the island of Oahu in Hawaii, Waikiki is well known for its beautiful white sand beaches and clear blue waters. Whether you're looking for a relaxing vacation or an adventure-filled getaway, Waikiki beach is definitely the place to be.

White Sands Earrings

Take your Waikiki experience back home with you and keep the memories alive with White Sand earrings by Foterra Jewelry. These earrings were created using a photo taken near the Hilton Hawaiian Village, one of the oldest hotels in Waikiki! They make a great gift to bring home to your loved ones... or a keepsake just for you.

What better way to remember your time in Waikiki than with beautiful jewelry that you can wear every day?

Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve

We’ve talked about the beaches… let’s not forget what’s under the water! One of my favorite creatures is the sea turtle, and if you’re hoping to see one in it’s natural habitat (along with tons of colorful tropical fish!) then you can’t miss Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve. This underwater preserve is one of the most popular snorkeling and diving spots in Hawaii. The clear waters and abundance of sea life make it a perfect place to experience the ocean. Sea turtles are often seen swimming in the bay, and the reefs are teeming with colorful fish. In addition to being a beautiful spot for swimming and diving, Hanauma Bay is also an important conservation area. The preserve helps to protect Hawaii's marine life and keeps the waters clean for future generations to enjoy. If you're looking for a place to enjoy the beauty of the ocean, Hanauma Bay is definitely worth a visit.

Sea Turtle Pendant Necklace

Who doesn't love sea turtles? They're so big and graceful, and they make us feel like we're in a tropical paradise every time we see one. If you're a fan of these amazing creatures, then you'll love a sea turtle pendant necklace.

Lanikai Beach

With its soft white sand and crystal clear waters, Lanikai is often called the most beautiful beach in Hawaii. Lanikai Beach is a must-visit for anyone traveling to Hawaii. The beach has a perfect view of two islands offshore, the Na Mokulua Islands, which sit like sentinels guarding the bay. Lanikai Beach is also a great place to swim, paddle board, and kayak. The gentle waves make it a popular spot for families with young children. Whether you're looking to relax on the beach or enjoy some water activities, Lanikai Beach is the perfect place to visit.

Sunrise Surf Earrings

These surf shaped earrings feature a lovely image of the Na Mokulua islands (also known as the Mokes) at sunrise. These earrings are the perfect way to bring a bit of the islands with you wherever you go. Whether you're headed to the lanikai yourself or just dreaming of Hawaii, these earrings will help you enjoy the islands.

Kailua Beach

Just next door to Lanikai is Kailua Beach Park. Kailua Beach is a perfect choice for those looking for a great place to swim, sunbathe, kiayak and paddle board. In fact, there are several rental companies located near the beach that offer all the necessary equipment. Be sure to call ahead to reserve your rental! Kailua Beach is also a popular spot for windsurfing... it can get gusty!  The beach is also flanked by a grassy park with picnic tables, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the incredible views.

Kualoa Beach Park

A great place to go paddle boarding! The park is located on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. The best time to go paddle boarding is in the morning when the water is calm. Before you go out, you should check the weather conditions and make sure there are no strong winds or waves. You should also wear a life jacket and sunscreen. When you get to the beach, you can rent a paddle board from one of the many rental companies. Once you're out on the water, you can paddle to Mokoliʻi island, also known as Chinaman's Hat. The island is a beautiful place to explore and it's a great place to go for a swim.

The silhouette of Mokoliʻi island against a bright sunset sky is sure to remind you of lazy days spent on a tropical beach. Whether you're wearing it as a reminder of a amazing vacation or as a daily dose of motivation to book your next trip, this necklace is sure to bring a smile to your face. And what's not to love about that?

Diamond Head State Monument

Diamond Head State Monument is a volcanic crater located on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. The crater offers stunning views of Honolulu and the surrounding area, and is a popular hiking destination for both locals and visitors. Diamond Head is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Hawaii, and has been used as a backdrop in many movies and TV shows. The hike to the top of the crater is moderately challenging, but it is well worth the effort for the incredible views. If you are visiting Hawaii, be sure to add Diamond Head State Monument to your list of must-see places!

The diamond head crater is about 3,520 feet above sea level and offers stunning views of the surrounding area. Hiking to the top of diamond head is a great way to experience the beauty of Hawaii. The diamond head hike is not very difficult and takes about 1-2 hours to complete. Once you reach the top, you can enjoy panoramic views of Honolulu and the surrounding area. You can also capture your hike with diamond head jewelry to help you to remember your amazing hike and remind you of your Hawaiian adventure.

If you want to feel like you’re still on vacation, or just need a little reminder of the good times, consider getting a keepsake photo jewelry piece from your favorite beach in Hawaii. There’s nothing quite like having a physical embodiment of happy memories to keep close to your heart (or wear around your neck!). We hope you enjoyed this roundup of some of the best beaches in Hawaii – be sure to check out all of the Hawaiian landscape photo jewelry for beautiful and unique pieces made from photos of your favorite places.
