No, I'm not talking about the Warrior Dash (I did that LAST weekend) I'm talking rainy Nu'uanu Valley waterfall hike!
Josh and I and a few friends headed out on Saturday to find the Waipuilana Waterfall near the Pali Lookout. It was yet again a rainy day, but in this case the rain worked in our favor. Gotta have water to make a waterfall! Specifically in rain form...
None of us had ever done this hike before, so we ended up a little bit off course… we ended up totally lost and bush whacked our way to the waterfall. It was so much fun!
It was so beautiful back there. We found a patch of these amazing orchids that someone must have accidentally on purpose planted in the valley. Josh found a fort! Just kidding, it is a lookout for pig hunters, but still a fun thing to climb.
After about two hours of hiking we finally found the trail, and shortly after the waterfall.
Another Oahu adventure!
Aloha! I'll be at Art and Flea tonight from 6-Midnight tonight, Thursday, Feb. 27th.
That's right… I'll be having a sample sale on all jewelry for spring 2014! All of my samples will be at a discount tonight. Come by for a great deal.
I have a few new resin rings that are not for sale online yet (like the one pictured), but they will be on sale at my booth! Be the first to take one home! ;-)

Today Josh and I went on a hike along the Coco Head loop trail. We didn't actually know that it was a loop trail and we were intending to head down to the land bridge that extends across the water. As we were heading down we saw a trail, and decided we would follow it back on our way home from the land bridge.
We headed down to the land bridge and realized it was waaaaay to sketchy to hang out on and cross the bridge, so we kept exploring the scenery near the water.
We almost got drenched!
It was so nice to get out of the house, even though it was a drizzly, rainy day. A little rain won't stop this native Oregonian from going on a hike!
